Summary
Data, Analytics, and Insights function connects multiple sources of information to drive decision-making through data. Associates with this expertise support the business by using data to solve cross-functional problems.
Responsibilities
- Identify and deploy data standards and collection and maintenance rules.
- Set up roles and responsibilities to ensure compliance with data standards and regulations and to monitor and improve data quality. Drive change to align strategic needs into harmonization.
- Introduce the "data as an asset" concept and engage functions to adopt it.
- Defines Master Data strategy, data model, standards, taxonomies, and policies across different data domains in line with business needs. Defines ownership of Master & Reference Data groups, develops, and documents MDM governance processes, and defines ways to educate data management organizations and data owners on them.
- Drives implementation of tools, and systems interventions to deploy master data solutions to the segment & markets. Defines, reviews, and approves new (or changes to existing) data standards, business rules, and master data maintenance processes. Prioritizes the base business efforts around data standards, process development, and implementation.
- Ensures appropriate communication to, and input from, business and IT counterparts
Requirements
- College Degree Data Management/Finance/Economics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; SAP; Veritas.
- Two years in Master Data Management.
- Data Quality; Data Management; Data Mining.
