Function: Provide support in data solutions within the Credit Union. Provide quantitative analysis along with using data visualization to create a story for cross-functional business units.
Duties and Responsibilities:

2. Assist with design and maintenance of interactive dashboards and other Data Visualizations for various stakeholders within the Credit Union
3. Assist with writing and executing SQL queries to retrieve information from databases for specific analysis projects, ensuring data integrity and efficiency
4. Collaboration with Teams: Work cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Finance, Lending, and Operations teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
5. Project Support: Contribute to ongoing initiatives, such as member segmentation projects, software implementations, and various other projects
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Specifications
Education:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Masters Degree in mathematics, data science, computer science, information management, or statistics or closely related field.
Experience:
• Prior data analyst or data mining experience, through course work or internship.
• Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
• Ability to connect analytical findings to business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have strong PC skills.
Software:
• Data Visualization tools, Power BI Preferred
• SQL
• Excel and Microsoft 365
• Basic knowledge of Python a plus
