Position: Data Analytics Project Manager

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: Onsite 4 days/week just outside downtown Minneapolis (Free parking)

Our client is in need of a Senior Project Manager to manage an implementation partnership for a new Saas solution, and work with an ERP consolidation effort.

25% he'll be portfolio manager over D&A but projects he'll support he's handing off 2 projects:

1. sales performance management; just implemented MVP for new Saas solution (Xactly software: sales incentive planning on HR and Sales side (currently writing quoting through Excel)) for incentive planning (phase 2 and phase 3 continuation).

2. sales order margin backlog - data consolidation into snowflake data lake and reporting. Sales order backlog: strong PO, so better oiled machine. driven, high performer, can speak tech. Will spend most of time working with tech team versus PO. Will need to understand movement of data from ERP to datalake as they consolidate 17 ERPS into Snowflake. Operational reporting comes out of Tableau, which is connected.

Current Portfolio Manager is 75 PM/25 BA helps connect between business and tech teams.

25%: Not coding or writing SQL but can see what they're doing/operating like a SM; look at the system and give them technical requirements when business asks for a report

75%: budget and project planning, translate what business is asking for. No dedicated BA or SM.

Agile environment: SaFE. RTEs from a scaled agile perspective; they're doing PI planning and goals.

D&A team has 20 people

MH:

scrappy, keep the team organized in a way they understand, collaborative and applies feedback, picks up/digs into concerns well

pick up and ask questions but don't need handholding

NTH:

Computer Science technical background

Use JIRA

Budget in Excel, pull extracts from finance

Required:
Begin work day earlier due to international calls (ie 6:30/7am)

Must be highly collaborative, scrappy, keep the team organized in a way they understand, quickly apply feedback, pick up/dig into concerns well

Utility player there is no dedicated BA or SM on this team, so ability to gather requirements and help within daily stand up.

Hit the ground running without need for handholding or asking repeat questions

Have experience with SAFE environment and using JIRA

Core IT project management, understanding data movement from ERP to data lake
