Data Analytics Specialist - Powertrain Programs

Akkodis is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist - Powertrain Programs for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will support powertrain cost-reduction initiatives by delivering actionable insights, dashboards, and reporting solutions that drive data-driven decision-making . Rate Range: $34/Hour to $36/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Data Analytics Specialist - Powertrain Programs Job Responsibilities include: Analyze large engineering, cost, and program datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that support Technical Value Management (TVM) and cost-reduction initiatives. Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive-level visualizations to track KPIs, savings, and program performance. Perform data mining, data modeling, validation, and trend analysis to ensure accurate and actionable business intelligence. Automate reporting processes and improve data visibility, reporting efficiency, and decision-making across engineering and product development teams. Track project milestones, action items, implementation progress, and cost-saving initiatives while supporting cross-functional program reviews and status meetings. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program stakeholders to develop standardized metrics, maintain data integrity, and deliver insightful reporting solutions that support business objectives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related technical discipline. 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or Engineering Analytics with hands-on expertise in Power BI and data visualization. Strong experience in Power BI, Advanced Excel, Data Mining, Dashboard Development, KPI Reporting, Data Modeling, DAX, and Power Query, with the ability to analyze large engineering and cost-related datasets. Proven experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or product development organizations, including project tracking, executive reporting, reporting automation, data validation, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
