Job Summary

The Data Analytics SME is responsible for delivering advanced data insights, developing analytical solutions, and guiding cross-functional teams to leverage data for decision-making. The role involves working closely with business leaders, data scientists, and data engineers to ensure high-quality data solutions that align with organizational goals and add measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights:

- Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights for decision-making.

- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from data to drive business improvements.

- Perform exploratory data analysis and build predictive models as necessary.

Technical Expertise:

- Serve as a subject matter expert on analytical tools, methodologies, and best practices.

- Guide and advise on the development of analytics models and frameworks.

- Implement and optimize machine learning models where relevant.

Solution Development:

- Design and implement data solutions tailored to specific business needs.

- Work with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and reliability.

- Provide end-to-end support, from data extraction to visualization.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Translate business questions into technical specifications for data scientists and analysts.

- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing:

- Mentor and train junior data analysts and data scientists.

- Share best practices, trends, and new insights in data analytics with team members.

- Develop and maintain documentation for analytics processes and solutions.

Project Management:

- Lead and manage analytics projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for analytics initiatives.

- Monitor progress, resolve challenges, and communicate status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven record of translating data into meaningful insights.

- 3+ years of experience in data analytics for telecom environment for network performance data

- Demonstrated expertise in using analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing technologies.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical audiences.

- Project management experience is a plus.
