Data and Records Manager Sisters of Mercy of the Americas - Belmont, NC Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 Exempt | Telecommute Eligible Reports to: Director of Administrative Services The Sisters of Mercy are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Data and Records Manager to support the integrity, security, and stewardship of organizational data across the Institute. This role plays a vital part in preserving the accuracy and confidentiality of information that supports the life and ministry of the Sisters. The Data and Records Manager oversees MercySource 2 (our proprietary database), Cobblestone contract management software, Legal Expense Tracker, and the Institute’s Policies and Procedures repository, while also maintaining the security of active member files at the Administrative Office in Belmont, NC. Rooted in the mission of the Sisters of Mercy, this position supports a culture of service, integrity, and careful stewardship of information. Key Responsibilities Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across multiple systems Write and execute SQL queries and generate reports and statistics Provide data for annual Vatican and diocesan reporting Oversee database policies, procedures, and compliance standards Manage platform upgrades in collaboration with developers and consultants Direct data entry and train staff on system use Maintain security and digitization of important member records Develop and monitor database development budgets Support contract management and legal tracking systems Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years of database management experience (or equivalent) Experience writing SQL queries and/or using Power BI Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience managing multiple data sources, both digital and physical Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and database systems Preferred: Experience with Cobblestone or other contract management software Experience supporting legal or compliance functions Experience in a nonprofit or religious organization Understanding of Catholic Church structures and traditions If you are a thoughtful and disciplined professional who values accuracy, confidentiality, and meaningful work, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
