Our client is undergoing a 2-3 year full business transformation.The Data Architect provides plays a strategic role in shaping the data foundations of the Digital Program. This role provides assurance that program data is structured, secure, integrated, and aligned with business goals, leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem to enable analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights.This role can be based in any Australian city with WFH (remote) or Hybrid options available.**Contract engagement could be considered** What we’re looking forTo thrive in this role you’ll need to have:Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Data, Information Technology or related discipline.Proven experience as a Data Architect or Enterprise Architect in large-scale enterprise or government programs.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and certifications in TOGAF or equivalent.Deep expertise in Azure data services:Microsoft Fabric.Azure Data Factory.Azure Synapse Analytics.Azure Data Lake Storage.Azure SQL / Cosmos DB.Experience in Dynamics 365 CE (Dataverse) and Dynamics 365 Finance & operations (D365FO), including data models, integration, and reporting.Proficiency in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) for no-code/low-code. The role As a Data Architect: Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture aligned with TOGAF principles, industry best practices, and business objectives.Establish the program data strategy and roadmap for integrating Dynamics 365 CE and F&O with Azure data services and other LOB systems/services.Design and document data models, integration patterns, and reference architectures across Dataverse, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and related services.Create robust data integration strategies between Dynamics 365 CE/F&O, third-party systems, and external data sources.Enforce, and where necessary support the development of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality standards.Establish policies and controls for security, privacy, and access management across enterprise data assets.Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.Collaborate with solution architects, application teams, and infrastructure specialists within the Digital Program, Data Strategy and Analytics Team and Digital Services to ensure alignment on design and integration.
