About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect 1 to design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-level data architecture. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, scalability, and accessibility across the organization. The successful candidate will define how data is stored, integrated, and managed, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and modern technology standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain enterprise data models, schemas, and standards. Define data flows and integration patterns between systems.
- Database Management: Oversee logical and physical database design for performance and scalability; collaborate on optimization and capacity planning.
- Data Governance: Establish data quality, security, and compliance standards. Implement metadata management and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary.
- Integration & ETL: Design and optimize ETL processes for data warehousing and analytics, ensuring interoperability between on-prem and cloud systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical data solutions.
- Performance & Security: Ensure architecture meets performance SLAs and security requirements, including encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms.
- Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies (Cloud, Big Data, AI/ML) and recommend improvements to existing structures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Data Modeling: Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data modeling.
- RDBMS: Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational database management systems.
- Cloud Platforms: Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud environments.
- Integration: Minimum 5 years of experience with ETL tools, APIs, and integration frameworks.
Preferred Skills (Highly Desired)
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
- Proficiency with Data Visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices specifically for data pipelines.
