About the Role:

The Architecture Manager will play a crucial role by leading the design and implementation of the cloud-based Data Warehousing & Business Analytics architecture, inclusive of data ingestion, data storage, data integration, data security and presentation. The Architecture Manager will also conduct periodic architecture evaluations to improve the existing environment, research emerging technologies and propose enhancements to the platform.

What Will I Be Doing?

  • Serve as an evangelist for the overall Data Warehousing & Business Analytics platform (e.g., COMPASS) across the organization; drive adoption and promote utilization; conduct end user and new hire training
  • Lead architectural discussions and implementation and design of Data Warehousing exercises to create world-class solutions while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Lead the data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) orchestration layer design and implementation ensuring long-term interoperability with Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and data integration with other transactional systems
  • Develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
  • Conducts architecture evaluations and collaborates with project teams to improve it; continuously researches emerging technologies and proposes enhancements to the existing platform
  • Supports the development and implementation of BI solutions (e.g., interactive reports, visualizations, dashboards, scorecards, standard and ad-hoc reports, etc.)
  • Responsible for gathering and documenting Application Programming Interface (API) technical requirements, designing and implementing data integration technologies
  • Monitor and provide production support for the existing platform ensuring compliance with corporate objectives for data integrity, quality, performance, management, scalability, reliability, and security


What Are the Requirements?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study. Masters degree preferred.
  • 5 years of architectural design and implementation experience in a Data Warehousing & Business Analytics environment (e.g., Data Lakes, Data Marts, BI, including development and implementation, data analysis, and report writing)
  • 5 years of experience with specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Deep knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK Functional Framework (e.g., data architecture management, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Amazon, MS Azure) and API design, Power BI or Tableau Power Apps
  • Extensive experience with OLTP and OLAP development and implementation
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and MS solutions (e.g., D365, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, etc.)
  • Successful utilization of Talend Studio, Visual Studio, SQL Server BI Development Studio, and MS SQL Server
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and programing languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP)


The salary range for this role is $130,000.00- $150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
