Experience managing hardware configuration baselines. Experience with Data Center Strategy, Planning, and Roadmap maintenance. Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards. Job Description Look at existing infrastructure and these spaces where they need to grow and add systems or approve all of the supporting devices that are there and provide recommendations for that. Identify and correct issues and evaluate how things are being done currently to set a better stage for the new building. Coordinate logistics and meet with stakeholders to understand requirements on the mission critical side; determine what is required to support all stakeholders. Align data with the requirements that are being supported by different deliverables already in the works and identify any gaps (e.g., someone forgot to specify a rack size, old legacy systems moving into the building). Update/alter vault sizes accordingly. Lead and assist with all design aspects of the CCC data center support systems, including AC/DC power, UPS, HVAC, carrier infrastructures, internal/external cable plant, and overall data center layout. Produce architectural artifacts such as system design diagrams, recommendation justifications, and technical specifications. Communicate conceptual designs and maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction. Create and review civil/structural/architectural design RFPs. Conduct site assessments, internal design meetings, and construction reviews. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the processes and standards that govern data center activities. Coordinate and control access and logistic support. Follow data center procedures and processes. Manage and coordinate the installation and maintenance of data center equipment. Ensure compliance with data center security protocols.
