This full-time, overnight role supports critical infrastructure operations, ensuring network and server uptime in a high-availability environment.About the Opportunity:Shift: NightsSchedule: Wednesday to SaturdayHours: 8pm to 6:30amSetting: Onsite at a colocation data center (Ashburn, VA)Responsibilities:Installing and maintaining network and server hardware (rack & stack, components, cabling)Performing hardware diagnostics, break/fix, and component replacementsSupporting data center builds, refreshes, and deployment logisticsConducting structured cabling (Cat6, fiber) and terminationsMonitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating incidents as neededUsing DCIM tools to maintain asset and rack documentationOperating KVM, PDUs, and out-of-band management systemsEnsuring compliance with all safety and data center operational standardsQualifications:2+ years of Data Center or IT infrastructure experienceHigh School Diploma / GEDExperience with routers, switches, and firewallsKnowledge of LAN/WAN topologies and structured cablingFamiliarity with AC/DC power systems and electrical standardsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and under pressureDetail-oriented with strong organizational habitsDesired Skills:Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fieldCisco hardware experience or trainingExperience with DCIM tools (e.g., Nlyte), DSView, or similar platformsFamiliarity with data center airflow and cooling conceptsProven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a high-availability environment
