Data Center Technician, DCC Communities (AWS)

You will work primarily in Fredericksburg while supporting related sites in Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas during the ramp‑up period. The role requires full flexibility to work any day or evening shift and may include several months of travel to those locations for operational support and training. As a Data Center Technician you will be responsible for ensuring overall availability and reliability of data‑center operations. Your duties will include in‑depth hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair of systems, and participation in an on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours support when needed. Requirements include US citizenship, a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph after start. Candidates must be able to travel over 50 miles or commute within 50 miles for active data‑center sites as business needs dictate. Key Job Responsibilities Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds. Work in a 24/7 environment and participate in an on‑call rotation providing after‑hours support as needed. Travel regionally to support operations and training at other sites. Basic Qualifications 1+ year of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience. 1+ year of computer networking experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds. Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above. Preferred Qualifications Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure. Location: Fredericksburg, VA (travel to Stafford, Louisa, Manassas may be required). Pay: $27.00 – $48.00 USD hourly.
