Data Center Technician

Location: Neptune Beach, FL (Onsite)

• 2+ years of Data Center experience

• 4+ years of overall IT infrastructure experience

• Strong knowledge of fiber optics and structured cabling

• Hands-on experience with hardware break/fix (optics, line cards, TOR switches)

• Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals & OSI model

• Experience working in CLI-based environments

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux systems administration

• Basic scripting skills (Bash or Python)

• Knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, STP, VRRP, LACP

• Experience with RMA coordination and DC asset tracking systems

• Perform hardware swaps including optics, line cards, and Top-of-Rack (TOR) switches

• Troubleshoot connectivity, fiber, and networking issues within the data center

• Coordinate RMA processes and vendor escalations

• Support asset management, rack & stack, and inventory tracking

• Assist with day-to-day Data Center operations and incident response
