Job Title Datacenter Technician Overview Insight Global is looking to hire Data Center Technicians for a Fortune500 client. Responsibilities Preparing, staging, setting up, and performing startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) according to specific instructions, checklists, guides, standard protocols, and emails. Performing diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, quickly identifying the cause(s) of issues, and replacing faulty components. Decommissioning hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidance. Following procedures to communicate, report, and elevate incidents to appropriate Datacenter Technician Leads. Working alongside the cabling and logistics teams to complete necessary projects.
