BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Data Center Technician in Somerset, NJ

Position Title: Data Center Technician

Location: 800 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873-1227

Anticipated Start Date: Tentative start Date 06/23/2025
Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 12+ Months with possibilities for extension
Job Type: Contract: 40 hrs/week

Pay Range: $20 to $22/hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

This is a position within a data center and requires shift work.
WED, THUR, FRI, SAT. We can work with either 9am- 7pm or 10 am to 8pm. Once determined, that will be the shift.

The following are the skillsets:

• Rack and Stack
• Copper and Fiber cabling
• Servers – HP + Dell + Sun/Oracle + IBM
• Storage – Net-Apps + Dell/EMC
• Networks - Cisco switches
• Service Manager Ticketing System or similar
• Microsoft Office
