Location : Blue Ash OH (Cincinnati metro) Onsite 3-4 days a week

Project information:

• Data platform for in store pick up
• 70 people on the team, quite a few in Cincy around 40, 2 engineering managers reporting to him Ramesh is one of them. 3 product managers, 3 scrum masters, 6 teams.
• Build a streaming data analytics platform to help ecommerce team to make plans for day/week/month
• Create a lot of metrics to tell leadership team how the stores are operating, used for tactical positioning (ex. thanksgiving timeframe what are the common items that might go out of stock that will cause a lot of revenue for Kroger)
• Build on a lakehouse based architecture, speed path and batch path that they upload into delta lake.
• Looking for self starter, good coach to others
• Business users are predominately using Power BI

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge in object oriented programming - Must
• Python Programming - Must
• Advanced Sql
• Azure Azure function, Cosmos db / Synapse preferable . Consider any cloud experience
• DataBricks desirable
• CI / CD
