Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team for a critical project with our client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering scalable data solutions, working with advanced technologies, and collaborating across business and technical teams to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze competing requirements, articulate tradeoffs, and lead discussions with business and development teams, including whiteboard sessions.

• Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to ensure performance.

• Develop and communicate business plans and priorities effectively while fostering adaptability and continuous learning.

• Create training documentation to support system understanding and user adoption.

• Oversee and guide the tasks of less experienced programmers and provide system troubleshooting support.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Cloud, Scala, Streaming, and Kafka.

• Strong experience with SQL and Data Warehousing.

• Hands-on expertise in BI tools with Looker Views, Models, Explores, and Charts.

• Solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Data Modeling.

• Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration.

• Understanding of Backend Development (Spring) and Python Programming.

• Practical knowledge of Cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure.
