Instrumentation Technician TPG is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Instrumentation Lab Assistant to support our calibration team. This role involves collecting equipment that is due for calibration, tracking the status of calibration tasks, and ensuring items are processed and returned in a timely manner. The position requires frequent walking across multiple buildings on-site and extended periods on your feet. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment and be proactive in communicating the status of tasks to ensure smooth operations. Instrumentation Technician Essential Job Duties Collect and deliver instrumentation and equipment due for calibration from various onsite locations. Assist with checking equipment in and out using our calibration database. Prepare items for shipment to external calibration labs and ensure proper documentation is included. Maintain accurate records of equipment movement and calibration status. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report task completion and progress updates. Collaborate with team members to prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines. Perform basic data entry and reporting using Microsoft Excel and Word. Support other instrumentation lab tasks as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team environment and clearly communicate task status and completion. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physically able to walk long distances across buildings and stand for extended periods. Education & Experience Associate's degree (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training are a plus. At least 3 years of experience as an Instrumentation Lab Assistant. Able to work cooperatively in diverse and challenging environments. Important considerations Safety Sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug free and successfully pass drug screening prior to employment.
