We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Tamarac, Florida. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of our data records. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who excel at precision and have strong typing and computer skills. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately input and update data into company systems and databases.
• Verify information for completeness and correctness before entering it into the system.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data is easily accessible when needed.
• Handle numeric and alphanumeric data entry tasks with efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies or missing information.
• Perform regular audits to identify and correct errors in data.
• Follow established procedures for data entry and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Provide support in generating reports and summaries based on entered data.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data-related issues.
• Proficiency in data entry tasks, including numeric and alphanumeric input.
• Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed.
• Familiarity with computer systems and data management software.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
• Building permitting experience desired but not required.
• Background in IT would be a plus.
