The Data Integrity Specialist (Administrative Assistant) is responsible for performing high-volume data entry and database cleanup to ensure accuracy and integrity of records. This role involves reviewing, correcting, and maintaining data within CRM/database systems, with a focus on Raiser's Edge. The specialist will work independently, maintain confidentiality, and support data governance and reporting accuracy within the organization.
Responsibilities:- Perform high-volume data entry and database cleanup with strong accuracy.
- Review database records for completeness, consistency, and integrity.
- Correct, update, and maintain records within Raiser's Edge and other database systems.
- Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data governance standards.
- Support reporting accuracy by ensuring reliable and complete data.
- Work independently to complete assigned projects within established timelines.
- Collaborate with staff to clarify or validate data as needed.
- Assist with additional administrative data maintenance tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in data entry, administrative support, or data integrity.
- Experience maintaining accurate database records in a professional environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with CRM or database systems.
- Strong keyboarding skills and data entry accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality handling sensitive information.
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet productivity expectations.
- Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar donor, fundraising, financial, healthcare, or operational databases.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- Must be able to work onsite in Newport News, VA.
- Comfortable performing repetitive computer-based work for extended periods.
- Temporary assignment with potential extension based on business needs.
- Part-time schedule, 3 4 days per week, approximately 4 hours per day (12 16 hours/week).
- Flexible schedule between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Preference for 3 4 hour shifts across 3 4 weekdays.
