Summary of Position The Data Entry Supervisor is responsible for supervising assigned staff, recording data, processing donations, special letters and production processes, including the oversight of those processes and activities. This position will provide leadership through example by applying fair and consistent application of policies, while demonstrating a variety of coaching styles and techniques. This position will also work very closely with the Data Entry Manager on day-to-day data-entry goals. This is a non-exempt position. Accountability Reports to the Data Entry Manager Core Responsibilities Represents St. Joseph’s Indian School in a positive and professional manner to employees and donors. Proficient in data entry, special letters, reports and running production processes for St. Joseph’s Indian School (SJIS), Priests of the Sacred Heart (POSH) and Sacred Heart Southern Missions (SHSM). Responsibilities to monitor all data entry activities including Mavro, Special Letters, Studio Enterprise and production processes. Promotes and leads staff toward the organization’s mission, vision and values. Leads by example and is a model of exemplary behavior to promote a positive working environment. As a supervisor – inspires trust, develops staff and manages performance (hiring, discipline, performance evaluations). Responsibilities Supports and develops assigned Data Entry staff by providing and delivering training and continuous development of advanced data entry and production processing skills. Is responsible to lead the creation and updating of assigned training materials and disseminate training to staff. Performs responsibilities as needed to ensure the mail production is within production goals for STJO, POSH and SHSM. This includes working overtime as required. Assist with cleanup activities, e.g., duplicate resolution, CASS errors, deceased processing, etc. Maintains tight security in regards to potential theft, fraud, and sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma required with five or more years of data entry/office experience. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to ensure that work-related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Must be a team player of excellent character and personal integrity in a fast-paced environment. Display an energetic and enthusiastic personality creating an inclusive working environment. Able to communicate, support and model the mission of St. Joseph’s Indian School. Physical Demands Uses both hands and wrists repetitively for prolonged periods. Driving is required. Some supervision may require standing for prolonged periods. Expectations of Hours Worked Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
