Role Summary
We are seeking a Data Management Lead to drive enterprise-wide data governance, data quality, and data management implementation initiatives. This role combines strategic thought leadership with hands-on execution, partnering with business and technology leaders to ensure data is trusted, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Lead end-to-end data management implementations, from design through rollout and adoption
Data Governance Activation
Data Quality Implementation
Meta Data Implementation
Master Data Implementation
Define and lead the enterprise Data Management strategy, including Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, and Master/Reference Data
Establish and mature data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models
Act as a thought leader, influencing executives and stakeholders on data as a strategic asset
Oversee data quality management: rules definition, monitoring, issue remediation, and reporting
Partner with business, IT, analytics, and security teams to align data initiatives with business goals
Select, implement, and optimize data management tools and platforms
Mentor and guide junior team members and data stewards
Define KPIs and metrics to measure data quality, governance effectiveness, and business value
Support operational requirements of a private equity firm

Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale implementations
Strong understanding of data management frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK or similar)
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving organizational change
Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality tools
Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills

Nice to Have
Experience in financial services specifically in PE
Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data architectures and tools like Atlan, Anamalo, Collibra etc.
