We are currently looking for a Data Management Analyst who will support the IKO companies' master data accuracy, setup, and maintenance. Ensure data integrity across the business applications, including the ERP system. In this role, the individual is required to possess analytical skills to handle and execute business data requirements.The Data Management Analyst must understand the value of data integrity to the whole organization, including information data lifecycle management, information modeling, master data management, and data requirements gathering. Work with our various ERP systems like JDE, Mapics, Navision, Handsoft, and Business Central. Knowledge of workflow and invoice automation tools like Bottomline, Datahaven, and Inspyrus is a plus. The individual should interact with the various business and information technology functions. The Data Management Analyst will join the Global Master Data Management department of IKO Europe NV, based in Antwerp, and will report to the Global Master Data Manager.WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL;AnalysisExecute master data setup and configuration in the various ERP systems and any other applications.Coordinate own master data requests using workflow tools /central mailbox to ensure that data quality meets established standards and service level expectations.Partner with internal and external customers to ensure data processes and procedures are followed and completed.Analyze business requests for compliance and accuracy prior to data entry and completion.Identify, analyze, and resolve Master data discrepancies.Review and improve Master Data request guidelines to aid current processes to become more effective.Provide master data support to all IKO business departments as needed.Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations.Manage and govern master data across ERP systems (Customer, Vendor, Material/Product)Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and validation rulesAbility to work independently and deliver in a fast-paced environmentEscalate to the Global Master Data Manager when required.Data continuity and process improvementMonitor the overall health of the data and execute cleansing efforts for all master data. Improved data quality, including duplicate resolution and hierarchy management.Identify data and process opportunities through audits, metrics, and trends to evaluate, re-design, and implement continuous improvements.Work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to management.Understanding of the end-to-end business processes to provide data management and integrity expertise.Meet current service level agreements agreed upon with the business.Complete daily/ weekly data integrity tasks.Document data processes, workflows, and governance policiesAct as a subject matter expert for ERP master dataCollaboration and cross-functional supportApply data audit and validation methods and procedures to ensure data quality.Participate and support internal projects requiring data analysis. Apply Business analysis while gathering data requirements to help with the various in-house projects related to workflow process improvements, plus other projects that may impact the master data side.Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and IT teams to understand requirements and provide analytical inputs; aid in resolving data issues.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Support data conversion, integration, and ERP initiativesOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;Minimum of 3 years of experience in master data managementBusiness degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science/ Supply ChainComputer proficiency with Excel, Visio, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Utilization of advanced Excel features, such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data cleanup, to analyze and interpret business dataProven experience as an MDM Analyst/ ERP Data AnalystPrevious work experience in data governance or a similar role; experience with data governance toolsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills to communicate complex findingsAbility to jump in quickly with minimal trainingAbility to document processes and proceduresAbility to troubleshoot data issuesPrevious experience with data migration/conversion, data lifecycle, and data qualityPrevious experience creating and changing data for vendors, customers, and productsUnderstanding of ERP master data concepts:CustomerVendorMaterial/ProductComfort working with structured data and following processesGood written communication (tickets, documentation)Familiarity with data quality checks and validation rulesNice to have:BI/reporting tool knowledge/ experience (Power BI, Tableau/ Reports Now)Experience supporting ERP implementations or data conversionsKnowledge of SQLWORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;Minimal travel (5 days or less annually and no business travel outside the local area)
