As a Data Manager Sr within PNCs EDM organization.
This is a remote position.
Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location approved by PNC.
This position may not be available in all geographical locations.


  • This position will manage the daily operations, as well as future initiatives, involving commercial data assets (CRW, commercial LDH etc.
    ).
  • Additionally, this role will fill the void in overseeing the integrity of data for consumers as well as managing the policies and procedures for commercial information.
Job Description

Manages all aspects of organizational data; establishes and maintains policies and procedures for planning, designing and maintaining an information bank to ensure that data services are delivered in a high-quality and profitable manner.

Provides senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.

Oversees the integrity and maintenance of organizational data.

Monitors and reviews major organizational activities and goals to ensure important data needs are anticipated, and met.

Reviews and recommends policies and procedures for collecting and managing organization data.

Modeling: Data, Process, Events, Objects Knowledge of and the ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data, processes or events.


Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Knowledge of and ability to use a structured approach to identify the cause of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent a recurrence.


Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree.
Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
Industry experience is typically 8+ years.
At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
