Data Migration Validator-for Payroll system implementation


Job schedule-In office 5 days in office
Job hours-8:00am EST-5:00pm EST
Interview process- Virtual / Webex

Summary:
Support the in-house Chubb team during the final weeks of a major system implementation by validating that data was properly migrated from the legacy HR/Payroll system (Oracle/ADP Enterprise) to the new Payroll System (ADP Global View). Validation will be accomplished by comparing the content of data extracts provided from both systems saved in numerous excel workbooks. Documentation needs to show evidence of data that matches and identify all differences.
Note: Assignment would start in December with critical/required work dates between 12/16 and 12/22. Weekend work may be required due to timing of when some task needs to be completed. Start/end date could possibly be prior/after dates listed.

Job responsibilities
Receive files for various types of HR/payroll data for 15,000 employees. Develop best way to compare data, provide evidence of data matches and differences. Data migration occurs during a very concentrated period of time and validation of data for all employees must be completed in an equally short period of time. Weekend work will be required due to when tasks can be started and when they must be completed.

Skills required
High proficiency in excel. Ability to autonomously manipulate massive excel spreadsheets using VLOOKUP, pivot tables and formulas to identify differences between files.

Knowledge of basic payroll concepts preferred (earnings, deductions, work/residency, W-4's elections, direct deposit, etc.) so familiar with data being validated.

Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Autonomous worker
Ability to maintain confidential data

Experience/Education needed
Prior experience massaging large excel files and applying formulas to analyze/compare data
Experience working under and meeting tight deadlines
