Job Family: Data Science Consulting Travel Required: None Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do Perform data analyses using Python and SQL to answer key analytical questions for clients Consult with clients to define analytics requirements, technical solutions, and methodologies to support confident decision‑making Develop, validate, and deploy analytics and data science capabilities aligned to client objectives Interface with client subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical solutions Contribute to client relationship management and participate in business development discussions Support and lead small teams while delivering high‑quality analytics solutions What You Will Need M.S. or M.A. in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics , or a related quantitative discipline A minimum of ONE (1) year of professional experience in data analytics or data science Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL Experience performing data science and analytics, including: Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models (e.g., LLMs, predictive models) into production web applications Demonstrated ability to support clients, build relationships, and drive solutions forward Experience leading or supporting small teams What Would Be Nice To Have Healthcare analytics experience, including work with CPT, ICD, place of service, and bill type codes Experience delivering solutions in healthcare, public health, or federal health IT programs Familiarity with Python Polars, GeoPandas , and automated document generation packages Relevant certifications, such as: Hands‑on experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications DevOps experience , including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep) and automated deployment pipelines The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
