Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas. Duties:Lead end-to-end data science projects, delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges and drive measurable outcomesDesign, develop, and validate advanced machine learning and statistical models, ensuring optimal performance and scalabilityCollaborate closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in production environments, both real-time and batch, while implementing performance monitoring and improvement strategiesPartner with key business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable data science opportunities and provide insights that inform decision-makingBuild and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, fostering deep collaboration with product, engineering, and business teamsServe as a subject matter expert in machine learning and predictive analytics, providing guidance on best practices and model interpretabilityStay current with emerging trends, research, and advancements in data science, continually exploring new methodologies and technologies to enhance solution effectivenessDesired Skills/Experience:Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related disciplineProficient in Python and SQL, with strong coding practices and data manipulation skillsPractical experience with modern database technologiesFamiliar with transformer-based architectures including SLMs, LLMs, VLMs, and embedding modelsDemonstrated expertise in API development and containerization technologiesHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Vector SearchKnowledgeable in software development methodologies, including Git, branching strategies, Agile workflows, and test-driven developmentProven experience developing LLM-based solutions such as retrieval-augmented generation systems, chatbots, and agentic AI applicationsBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offeredThe approximate pay range for this position is between $56.00 and $80.00.
