Data Analyst This position will be responsible for data analysis, statistical modeling, visualizations, and data engineering to support data insights for the campus.
Examples Of Duties Extract and analyze data from the Banner ERP system and related data sources to fulfill internal data requests
Develop modeling frameworks for prediction, classification, and similar goals, utilizing machine learning models and artificial intelligence tools when appropriate
Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualization using Power BI or other approved data visualization tools
Identify opportunities for enhancing data assets and propose innovative solutions
Translate business needs into technical solutions and provide data-driven recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business challenges
Develop and maintain data models, data definitions, and documentation
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and systems
Automate and optimize recurring reports and analytical processes
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Support data governance and compliance initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Proficiency and experience with statistics and predictive analytics
Proficiency and experience with machine learning & deep learning models
Proficiency and experience with Python, R, SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
Preferred Qualifications Proficiency and experience with business intelligence tools
