The team and I here at Albion Rye Associates are currently partnered with an independent award winning research consultancy based in the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Data Services Manager who is a talented survey scripter, processor and expert data handler to join a small, tight- knit team of experts to help them grow both their capacity and their expertise. Youll be coming to them at an exciting time for the team, when they are looking to rebuild and expand their capabilities, and youll have the chance to directly input into this future vision. They want you to challenge their thinking!

Key Responsibilities?


  • Using survey scripting tools ideally Forsta Surveys (previously Decipher)
  • Using data tabulation software, processing and handing data
  • Using Microsoft Excel and VBA
  • Working with stakeholders on projects in the full Quant lifecycle independently and also with a team
  • Working with clients and projects in all different sectors such as grocery, FMCG, fashion, finance, tech, homeware, travel and leisure

Requirements?


  • 4+ years of commercial experience, ideally in a similar market research role
  • Experience with survey scripting tools ideally Forsta Surveys (previously Decipher) but any XML or similar script-based survey software considered
  • Experience with data tabulation software
  • Strong capability with Microsoft Excel and VBA
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and/or Python at a basic level not required but would enhance application
  • Experience working with stakeholders on requirements and prioritisation
  • A true desire and passion to come up with the best solutions to technical problems
  • Openness to working flexible hours (occasional mornings & weekend working)
