Database Administrator

Profession: IT Database Administration Location: Atlanta, United States Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain database software. Resolve database errors and performance issues. Monitor database activity and optimize system performance. Design and implement backup and recovery plans for databases. Create and maintain documentation for database configurations and processes. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security and integrity. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on databases. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred. Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or a similar role. Strong knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. Experience with data backup, recovery, and security protocols. Familiarity with SQL language for querying databases. Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting issues in a timely manner. Other Details Salary: $1,300 per month, negotiable.
