This role will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, data engineering, and enterprise applications, with experience working with complex financial data, transactional systems, and cloud-based platforms.Why join us?Build the data infrastructure behind a cutting-edge AI-powered ERP platform.Work at the intersection of enterprise software, finance, data engineering, and artificial intelligence.Have ownership over critical systems that power automation and intelligent decision-making.Partner with product and engineering leaders to shape the future of financial technology.Join a team solving complex business problems with modern technology.Job DetailsResponsibilitiesDatabase Administration & ArchitectureDesign, implement, and maintain scalable database architectures supporting a high-growth AI ERP platform.Manage database performance, availability, security, and reliability across production environments.Perform database optimization, indexing, query tuning, and troubleshooting to improve system performance.Develop and maintain database standards, governance policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery processes.Monitor database health, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address performance issues.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across financial and operational systems.Data Engineering & InfrastructureBuild and maintain robust data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, automation, and AI/ML initiatives.Design and develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data.Integrate data from ERP systems, financial applications, APIs, and third-party platforms.Develop data models and schemas that support business intelligence and product functionality.Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and create scalable solutions.Support the development of AI-driven features by ensuring clean, accessible, and reliable data.ERP & Financial Data ManagementWork with complex accounting and financial datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across business workflows.Understand data structures related to:General ledgerAccounts payable and receivableFinancial reportingCustomer and vendor dataRevenue and expense transactionsOperational business dataPartner with finance and product teams to improve data workflows and reporting capabilities.Help design systems that support automation of manual accounting and finance processes.Security & ComplianceImplement database security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and auditing.Support compliance initiatives related to financial data protection and enterprise security requirements.Establish processes for data governance, quality monitoring, and documentation.QualificationsRequired Qualifications4+ years of experience in Database Administration, Data Engineering, or a related role.Strong experience with relational databases such as:PostgreSQLMySQLSQL ServerOracleAdvanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance.Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.Experience with cloud database environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).Strong understanding of data modeling, database architecture, and data governance.Experience working with SaaS applications or enterprise software platforms.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams.Interested in hearing more?
