Job#: 3035744 Job Description Database Administrator III Location Chandler, Arizona (Hybrid) Employment Type 12 Months Contract Role Overview This position involves the full life cycle management of DB2 mainframe databases, from initial analysis through decommissioning. The role will also engage in DB2 related z/OS Database initiatives, REXX programming, Python programming, and the extraction of SMF data for performance analysis. A hybrid work schedule is required, with a minimum of three days per week onsite. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete lifecycle of DB2 mainframe databases. Participate in z/OS Database initiatives related to DB2. Develop and maintain REXX and Python programs. Extract and analyze SMF data to monitor and improve DB2 performance. Required Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 5 years of DB2 Database experience is required. Technical Skills: Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of SMF data and REXX. A working knowledge of Splunk and Python programming is also necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience in application development. Knowledge of database replication.
