Key Responsibilities :Provide L2/L3 support for MSSQL and MongoDB across Production and DR environments, including participation in 24/7 on-call rotations.Troubleshoot and resolve database outages, Always On failover issues, blocking/deadlocks, performance bottlenecks, and storage/IOPS constraints.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to enhance system stability.Manage MSSQL Always On Availability Groups, replication, patching, cumulative updates, and backup/restore strategies.Implement database security hardening, manage access controls and auditing, support VA remediation, and ensure compliance with government policies and audit requirements.Conduct DR drills, restoration validation, and optimize indexing strategies and execution plans.Manage MongoDB Replica Sets, automatic failover, cluster health and backup/recovery processes.Perform proactive health checks, analyze query execution plans and tune databases for optimal performance.Forecast capacity growth and ensure scalability to meet evolving business demands.Support change and release activities including script reviews, data migrations, deployment validation, and rollback planning.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5–8 years of DBA experience.
