Overview Akkodis is seeking a Database Administrator for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX . Candidate must have deep expertise in leading complex data-migration initiatives across legacy and modern database platforms. Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities Leading the analysis of legacy data systems to identify structures, dependencies, and data-quality gaps. Designing scalable and efficient data models that align with the microservice-based SOR framework. Planning and executing end-to-end ETL migration workflows to move data from legacy platforms to new systems. Developing and optimizing schemas, queries, scripts, and automation tools across Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle environments. Collaborating with architects, developers, and analysts to ensure all data requirements and standards are met. Monitoring database performance and ensuring data integrity, validation, and reconciliation throughout the migration lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 12+ years of experience required. Proven background as a Database Administrator and/or Data Engineer with strong data-migration expertise. Hands-on experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle, along with strong data-modeling and ETL scripting capabilities. If you are interested in this role, then please apply.
