Database Administrator/SQL Server Data Modeler

Database Administrator / SQL Server Data Modeler Client is looking for an experienced Database Administrator/SQL Server Data Modeler to support and maintain their Cosmo DB read model application. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server data modeling, Azure, and OLT-P, and will be responsible for maintaining the performance and stability of the Cosmo DB application. Responsibilities: Support and maintain the Cosmo DB read model application Collaborate with the team on a large implementation upgrade project Optimize and tune queries for improved performance Rewrite data streams to improve data flow and streamline data processing Work towards a future implementation of Databricks, while continuing to support Cosmo DB Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and improve the application accordingly Provide support for any technical issues that arise Requirements: Strong experience with SQL Server data modeling and administration Experience with Azure and OLT-P Experience with Cosmo DB is preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team environment Experience with query optimization and performance tuning This is a hybrid, onsite position in Charlotte, NC, (3 days a week).
