We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry‑Level Database Administrator to join our team in the United States. As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our companys databases ensuring they are secure efficient and reliable. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong interest in database management and a desire to learn and grow in the field. Responsibilities Assist in the installation configuration and maintenance of databases Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues and perform necessary optimizations Implement security measures to safeguard data and ensure compliance with company policies Regularly backup and restore databases to prevent data loss Collaborate with other teams to identify database needs and implement solutions Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices in database management Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues quickly Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Certification in database management eg Oracle Certified Professional Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems Understanding of programming languages such as SQL or Python Salary: $1200 per month negotiable based on experience.
