Description

This Database Architect position will function as database developer/architect supporting multiple software applications for the DOH Office of Professional Medical Conduct.

Duties

  • Analysis and design of database objects and data collection systems, including the transformation of legislative requirements into system functionality.
  • Data modelling.
  • Software development tasks including Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server coding, testing, and implementation.
  • Troubleshooting issues in the application to find solutions;
  • Preparation of technical and user documentation.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience (15+ Years)
  • Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • This is an 100% Onsite.
  • 84 Months of experience in interpreting physical database models and experience with relational database concepts such as indexes, primary and foreign keys, and constraints using both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 84 Months of experience developing using Oracle PL/SQL, including database packages, procedures, functions and triggers.
  • 84 Months of experience in working with Oracle version 11g or later.
  • 84 Months of experience in using Oracle programming tools (SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader or other Oracle database programming tools).
  • 60 Months of experience developing using Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
  • 60 Months of experience in designing relational databases.
  • 24 Months of experience in integrating multiple database schemas.
  • 18 Months of experience in using Git.
  • R sum
  • Copy of Candidate Identification (i.e., Driver's License/Green Card/Visa and Passport if applicable)
  • Any documents referenced in the above Requested Qualifications (i.e., professional certifications, degrees, etc.)
