Zachary Piper Solutions is seek a Database Architect to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient database solutions to meet client needs and business objectives. This is a fully remote position and candidate must have an IRS/MBI Public Trust. Responsibilities Translate business requirements into robust database designs. Optimize performance, reliability, and security of database systems. Define standards and best practices for database architecture. Lead performance tuning and optimization efforts. Develop data models, schemas, and dictionaries. Implement security measures (access controls, encryption, masking). Mentor junior database staff and stay current with emerging technologies. Requirements 7+ years in database architecture/design/administration. Expertise in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA). Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL). Relevant certifications preferred. Education Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field. Clearance US Citizen; Active Public Trust/MBI or ability to obtain.
