Description
Database Engineer Level 1 is a junior-level role responsible for supporting the design, maintenance, and optimization of databases and data systems. Candidates typically have some professional experience with database administration, query development, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively to support reliable, secure, and efficient data environments.
Required Skills
Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases to include but not limited to Oracle, Postgres, Mongo, and Redis. Experience with SQL and the associated tools (SQL Developer, etc.)
Support the development of long and short-term requirements for database administration and design
Desired Skills
Experience with Elasticsearch
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
BS Degree + 3 years exp.

The projected compensation range for this position is $100K - $175K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
