DB2 Database Administrator The client is one of the largest retailers in the United States – they sell home improvement products (everything from shovels to lights to A/C units). The company has been in business for over 50 years and has more than 200,000 employees with over $50 billion in annual revenue. Position: DB2 Database Administrator Location: Mooresville, NC (near Charlotte, NC) Duration: 3+ Months Benefits: We offer medical/dental/vision, one week of paid time off, a $1,000 allowance for training and development, and a 401K. Responsibilities: Tuning SQL queries and stored procedures within the databases Perform scalability studies and provide recommendations Collaboration with Mainframe team to support the overall performance of the back-end systems Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience including prior work with IBM DB2 databases Bachelor's Degree is nice to have, but not required Good communication skills All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
