Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has openings for a permanent full-time Assistant Nurse Manager - CVOR/Vascular. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Newark, DE, 19718

Assignment Start Date: 8/23/2024

Shift: Days, Full Time

Salary: $102,000.00 to $151,000.00

We manage 3 OR suites for our cardiac program daily and support our interventional partners with hybrid cases when needed. With a team of 5 surgeons, private PA support, scrub technologists, and circulating nurses, we care for many patients needing cases from a basic CABG (CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS GRAFT), Valve Replacement and Repair, and TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), to an all-night dissection.

Seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to work a Day Shift (Shift Begins at 6:30 am) Monday through Friday. This position requires some On-Call responsibilities and Holiday obligations, per department guidelines. In this role, you will assist the Nurse Manager in the overall administrative direction for the clinical practice of nursing and delivery of high-quality and efficient care to all patients using the services of this area.

  • Shares 24-hour responsibility and accountability for all aspects of daily operational activity.
  • Directly supervises nursing and technical personnel: Assesses proficiency of staff, coordinates daily staffing and scheduling needs of the department, Evaluates staff performance, and Counsels staff members when performance issues are identified.
  • Participates in all hiring, promotion, salary adjustment, and termination decisions. Functions as a highly clear role model, demonstrating quality expertise and professional behaviors that support the professional development of staff and the strategic goals of the hospital.
  • Identifies and develops strategies to improve the overall knowledge base and integrity of staff.
  • Directs, mentors, and supports all levels of staff on the floor.
  • Identifies potential future leaders and engages in succession planning.
  • Analyzes administrative and operational functions; implements appropriate changes and system-wide improvements.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • Must have at least 5 years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience
  • Operating Room experience required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing required. Master's required within 5 years.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

  • Current RN licensure required
  • Current Certification required. (CNOR certification) If selected, the candidate will within six months of the start date, successfully complete the professional certification.
