Job Title: Debt Capital Markets Analyst

Job Description:

As a Debt Capital Markets Analyst at Augmentjobs, you will play a key role in the evaluation, structuring, and execution of debt financing transactions. Your primary responsibilities will include working with senior team members to analyze market trends, prepare financial models, and support client engagements in the issuance of debt instruments. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including investment banking, research, and legal departments, to ensure successful transaction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze debt market trends, interest rates, and economic conditions to provide actionable insights and recommendations for debt financing strategies.

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various debt financing scenarios and their impact on client capital structures.

  • Transaction Support: Assist in the structuring and execution of debt capital markets transactions, including public and private debt offerings, syndicated loans, and other related instruments.

  • Client Interaction: Prepare pitch materials, presentations, and reports for clients. Engage with clients to understand their financing needs and provide strategic advice.

  • Documentation: Draft and review term sheets, offering memorandums, and other transaction-related documents. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior bankers, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate the due diligence process and ensure smooth transaction execution.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in debt capital markets, investment banking, or a related field. Previous experience in financial modeling and transaction support is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.

  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing financial models, reports, and documentation.

  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
