Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Defence Finance Analyst to support our U.S. Defence Finance and Program teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, contract analysis, and supporting business controls. This is a hands-on role requiring strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, contract-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis services for U.S. Defence contracts.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Five-Year Plan, in-year forecasts, and Annual Operating Plans (APY) for assigned contracts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and contract-specific requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and strengthen business-wide control environments.
- Support the development and monitoring of long-term profit plans for projects and contracts.
- Provide ad hoc financial support, including billing and payment tracking, financial modeling, and analysis for smaller contracts or project-based work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP or Oracle HFN systems.
- Background in large industry or government/defense-related organizations.
- Strong ability to "hit the ground running" in a complex financial environment.
- Familiarity with contract accounting, government compliance, or defense program financials.
Certifications
- None required, but CPA or similar certification is a plus.
