Salary ranges vary by location as follows: Battle Creek, MI: $125,776 - $163,514 Columbus, OH: $131,245 - $170,624 Dayton, OH: $130,461 - $169,604 Fort Belvoir, VA: $143,913 - $187,093 New Cumberland, PA: $143,913 - $187,093 Ogden, UT: $125,776 - $163,514 Philadelphia, PA: $138,595 - $180,178 Richmond, VA: $131,385 - $170,806 Duties Serve as a J-62 expert on DLA acquisition business policies and processes supporting the acquisition life‑cycle management across business processes such as finance and audit processes. Serve as the focal point for coordinating and reviewing strategies/plans across emerging automated information system (AIS) programs. Identify and track key performance indicators for standardized enterprise processes, including but not limited to business capability management. Oversee the management of the programs and initiatives, ensuring adherence to approved IT acquisition business requirements and implementation of changes. Prepare written and verbal reports on initiative and program directives. Lead assigned projects and act in the absence of the supervisor. Act as an expert on DoD 5000.02, which governs defense acquisition systems and supports all DoD programs that include weapon systems, services, and automated information systems (AIS). Requirements Conditions of employment: Must be a U.S. citizen. Tour of Duty: Set Schedule. Security Requirements: Non‑Critical Sensitive. Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt. Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized. Bargaining Unit Status: No. This position and any future selections may be used to fill future vacancies for various shifts located anywhere within DLA Information Operations J6. Qualifications One year of specialized experience that equips the applicant with the competencies necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position, directly in or related to this position. For GS‑14, experience must be equivalent to GS‑13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Responsible for overseeing the development, assessment, and monitoring of performance‑based standards. Determine the minimum criteria for investment decisions and the criteria related to quantitatively expressed projected net, risk‑adjusted return on investment. Determine specific quantitative and qualitative criteria for comparing and prioritizing alternative information system investment projects. Responsible for administering the determination, coordination, and approval of program and new initiative budgeting requirements to support systems planning and upgrades, and migrations to Agency standards. Responsible for working with the Contracting Officer and Leadership to strategically address contract challenges, recommending enduring solutions to problems. Education cannot be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Additional Information This position requires a Program Management (A)/PM Advanced acquisition certification.
