Demand Production Planner Epicor Apply
Duration: 3-Month Full-Time Contract, On-Site
Position Overview:
As a Demand / Production Planner, you’ll work closely with the Supply Chain team at our client to design and implement a production plan that meets customer demands while aligning with our production capacity. Your expertise in analytics and scheduling will help optimize manufacturing processes and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and within specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize data analytics and sales forecasts to create manufacturing plans that enhance operational efficiency and consistently meet customer demands.
- Proactively manage material and equipment resources to ensure timely product delivery.
- Partner with other Demand Planners to establish and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to expedite customer orders when necessary.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to accelerate outsourced processes and assist with new product development.
- Contribute insights to the Sales and Operations Planning Process.
- Define, track, and analyze on-time delivery metrics.
- Participate actively in capacity planning efforts.
- Support improvements in information systems to enhance planning and scheduling.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Challenges:
- Balancing production capacity with fluctuating customer demands.
- Setting priorities while managing the needs of diverse cross-functional teams.
Primary Internal Relationships:
This role will primarily interact with Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leadership, and Engineering teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of scheduling experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Epicor or other advanced ERP systems.
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling.
