Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product categories using statistical models and market intelligence. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to gather critical market insights and refine forecasts. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes of significant variances, and implement corrective actions. Actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand plans with supply capabilities. Analyze historical sales data, promotional impacts, and external market trends to improve forecast reliability. Manage demand planning for new product introductions and product discontinuations, minimizing obsolescence and stock‑outs. Utilize demand planning software and ERP systems to manage forecast data and generate reports. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 3‑5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, JDA) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and statistical modeling abilities with a solid understanding of forecasting methodologies. Experience participating in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan). Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Experience in S&OP process design or improvement initiatives.
