Position Overview:

The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting and purchasing of all inventory needs. This role also collaborates with the Logistics team to manage production. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Demand Planner role includes building and managing various operational reports and forecasting models, using information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers and other sources (e.g. syndicated consumer data). The Senior Demand Planner is required to present relevant information to the team in an S&OP weekly meeting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Taking full responsibility for the demand planning function including all categories, all customers, all comans and all stages of shelf life

Use of forecasting models to plan production purchasing

Accurate submission of POs and forecasting to comans

Regular, consistent communication with comans

Working closely with our logistics team on production management

Management and communication of timing on various projects

Forecasting and other support for packaging projects

Understanding and consistent ongoing application of various customer and coman considerations such as shelf life requirements and minimum order quantities

Proactively identify and communicating changes in purchasing trends. Applying those observations to forecasting

Weekly and monthly reporting to track sales and inventory trends

Compiling best data to forecast new customer initial sales order quantities, new product launch inventory needs and ongoing promotional lift

Proactively identifying challenges, timely communication of those issues and communication of solutions and or different potential scenarios to management

Professionalization of current processes including development of dashboards and performance metrics analysis and reporting. Implementation of CPG best practices. Automation of processes where possible

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of Forecasting or Demand Planning experience, preferably in CPG

Outstanding attention to detail and Excel skills

ERP experience. NetSuite experience is preferred

Demand Planning software experience preferred

Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills

Strong analytical mindset and passion to identify and solve problems

. Adaptability as priorities change

Time management skills, including the ability to work efficiently, prioritize projects, be self-motivated and take full responsibility for all aspects of the role

A passion for success and strong work ethic. Ability to growth with this high growth Company

A positive and friendly attitude
