Who You Are:  As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team by providing chairside assistance to our dentists and ensuring optimal patient care. You are a highly skilled and compassionate individual with a passion for dentistry. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with both patients and team members. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment make you a valuable asset to our dental practice.

Who We Are:  Gorham and Ammarell Dentistry is located in the west end of Nashville and is thriving practice committed to providing high-quality dental care to patients in our community.

Requirements

  • Assist dentists during dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays.
  • Record patient information and dental treatments in electronic health records.
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care to patients.
  • Ensure that the dental office is clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
  • Follow all safety and infection control guidelines.

What You'll Bring:

  • Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • X-ray certification.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • From $20-$22 per hour depending on experience.
