Certified Dental Assistant

Job Description: We are looking for a full-time Certified Dental Assistant for our well established, family owned and operated, 4 dentist general practice located in Albuquerque's NE Heights. We prefer someone who is DANB certified who is able to work in a fast passed office. Applicant must possess a positive, outgoing personality, coupled with exceptional interpersonal verbal and written skills. Must be self-motivated and willing to learn. Previous work experience is recommended but not required. X-ray certification is required.

Job Description:

• Chairside assisting during a variety of procedures
• Dental X-rays
• Quality Impressions and bite registrations
• Set-up and breakdown rooms for each procedure, following proper infection control procedures
• Effective communication with patients, doctors and staff -- verbal and written
• Basic lab work
• Sterilization

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting certification
• Radiology licensure
• Sealant and Coronal polishing certification
• Computer literate
• Dentrix Ascend a plus, but not required
• Punctual and dependable

Salary: $18 - $24/hour DOE

Salary commensurate with experience and skills.
