NaphCare is hiring experienced Dental Assistants just like you to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Tucson facility located in Tucson, Arizona. Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $22.00-$32.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.
Position Description:
- Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department
- Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records
- Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests
- Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits
- Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction
- Mix and fabricate all restorative materials
- Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning
- Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools
- Develop all routine radiographs
